Hi friends! I’m so glad you wandered into this little corner of the internet. If you’re new here, welcome — I’m Darleen, the person behind Darlenora. The name is a mix of mine and my sister’s, and honestly, so is the heart behind this whole venture.

I grew up around old things — not because it was trendy, but because that’s just what we had. When something broke, we fixed it. When it wore out, we found another way to use it. I still use my parents’ can opener from 1960, and it works better than any modern one I’ve ever owned! That kind of resourceful nostalgia stuck with me, and my sisters and I naturally grew into collectors.

In 2022, my oldest sister passed away from cancer, and I inherited her beautiful collection of antiques. I realized I couldn’t keep everything, but there was no way I was letting those treasures end up in a yard sale. That was the moment Darlenora was born — a mix of her legacy, my love for old things, and a desire to give vintage goods a new life.
